About Transportation Planning
Transportation Planning in Guelph addresses long-term transportation needs as teh city grows. The transportation planning functions, undertaken within the framework of the City’s Official Plan and Transportation Strategy, include the following:

  • Preparation of Transportation Master Plans
  • Transportation Demand Management
  • Environmental assessment of transportation improvements
  • Assessment of transportation impacts of proposed developments
  • Local and inter-regional transit initiatives
  • Coordination with adjacent municipalities and provincial agencies in regard to regional and provincial transportation facilities.
