About Transportation Planning
Transportation Planning in Guelph addresses long-term transportation needs as teh city grows. The transportation planning functions, undertaken within the framework of the City’s Official Plan and Transportation Strategy, include the following:
- Preparation of Transportation Master Plans
- Transportation Demand Management
- Environmental assessment of transportation improvements
- Assessment of transportation impacts of proposed developments
- Local and inter-regional transit initiatives
- Coordination with adjacent municipalities and provincial agencies in regard to regional and provincial transportation facilities.
