About the Highland Cadet Corps

The Highland Cadet Corps was founded by local physical education instructor, Captain Walter Clark, in 1882.

The purpose of this organization was to provide young men with some military training and discipline. Clark also founded the Daughters of the Regiment in the 1880s. This organization was for young women.
